MAN DIES AFTER BEING HIT BY CAR IN ABERDEEN
A man has died in hospital after being struck by a car in Aberdeen.
The 68-year-old was seriously injured in the collision - which involved a VW Golf - on the city's Seafield Road at about 19:20 on Wednesday 6 March.
The man - who has now been named as Thomas Pates - died in hospital on Monday, police said.
Sgt Peter Henderson appealed for witnesses, and said: "Our thoughts are with Thomas’ family and friends at this sad time."
